The purpose of this book is to explain the basic procedures of a Real Estate Purchase, Sale and Refinance. A step by step process has been outlined which can be used as a teaching tool and guide to understand what stages you are at during the transactions. These procedures will allow you to know what information to gather, when to get it and what to do once obtained. Additionally, it is also designed to assist you in the preparation of the actual forms required by your Attorney, Title Company and Mortgage Company. General information and pointers are provided at certain times to allow you greater incite into the task being accomplished at that time.
Each
of the primary sections outline in detail an individual transaction. The
first section deals with a Real Estate Purchase. A fact pattern is
provided with all the necessary information which you would obtain in an
everyday purchase to complete the transaction. There are also copies of
letters and forms which have been completed in order to provide a guide to
prepare the documents yourself.
The
Second section outlines a Real Estate Sale. The Sale information is
derived from the Purchase fact pattern so the complete closing can be seen
from both points of view. Once again the closing forms and letters have
been included for your reference.
The Third section outlines a Refinance. A new fact pattern has been prepared with the information for the new loan and closing fees as well as the new forms you would be required to complete.
